In The Past!

In History we learn about things from 'In the past'. In Year 1 we are learning about Florence Nightingale and everything that she worked hard to change in the hospital that she she worked in. Can your child describe what the hospital was like when she first arrived?

    I am so excited to discover that you are learning about Florence Nightengale. She is one of my most favourite people from the past because she her creativity and perseverence made an enormous difference and has left a very important legacy. She understood the 'Chad Varah Way!'

    Oh dear...NOT a super sentence! I should not have left that second 'she' in the second sentence. That just shows how important it is to always check your work carefully.
